A high-power semiconductor manufacturer with over 60 years of heritage in IGBT modules, power assemblies, bipolar devices and EV-focused power solutions is investing in electrification and e-mobility across Europe, and is looking for a Business Development Manager, EV, for the DACH region: a senior, field-based, new-business role opening strategic accounts and securing design-in wins with EV OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Home-office based in Germany, with regular travel across the DACH region.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy for EV and e-mobility customers across the DACH region
  • Identify and qualify new EV OEM and Tier 1 opportunities across traction inverters, onboard chargers, DC/DC converters and auxiliary power systems, opening new accounts and securing design-in and nomination wins
  • Build trusted relationships with engineering, power-electronics design teams, procurement and senior decision-makers, driving technical-commercial discussions together with the applications and product-management teams
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from early engagement and feasibility through pricing, negotiation and long-term supply agreements, with accurate pipeline forecasting
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows and key industry events, and provide structured feedback on competitor activity, pricing trends and customer requirements

What you'll bring

  • Proven business development or technical sales experience within EV power electronics or automotive semiconductors, selling IGBT modules, power modules or equivalent high-power solutions
  • A strong understanding of high-power EV applications: traction inverters, onboard chargers, DC/DC converters and high-voltage battery systems
  • An existing network within EV OEMs and/or Tier 1 automotive suppliers in the DACH region, and the ability to manage complex, long-cycle design-in and nomination processes
  • Strong commercial negotiation and account-development skills
  • Fluent German and English, and willingness to travel regularly across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
