DPC Sales Manager

A leading provider of advanced material, component and assembly solutions for power semiconductor applications, specialising in Direct Plated Copper (DPC) technology, thermal-management solutions and high-performance semiconductor materials supporting laser technology, power electronics and industrial applications, is looking for a dynamic, results-driven DPC Sales Manager to drive business development and sales.

Based in Germany, with business development across Germany and occasional travel to the United States. Ideal for a motivated hunter with strong technical acumen and a robust network in the laser industry.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for DPC products
• Identify and pursue new business, particularly within laser-technology companies, leveraging an existing network to expand market penetration
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, with a focus on securing major clients
• Understand customer technical requirements, read technical drawings, and communicate needs effectively to R&D and engineering
• Stay current with industry trends, competitors and emerging technologies
• Provide training and knowledge-sharing on DPC and optical communications

What you'll bring

• At least 3 years in sales or business development
• A strong understanding of DPC technology, optical communications, laser technology and related applications, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• A self-motivated, proactive, goal-oriented hunter mindset
• Established connections within companies specialising in laser technology, cooling substrates and thin-film coatings, ideally among leading laser, photonics and optics companies
• Previous experience with high-power lasers, photonic components, semiconductor applications or thermal management, and a track record of developing new business in technical industries, preferred
• Based in Germany, with willingness to travel to the US as needed
