The European arm of a global display-solutions supplier, fully responsible for sales, marketing, quality and logistics support of its LCDs in Europe, offering professional TFT LCDs, passive LCDs and capacitive-touch displays to automotive, medical and industrial markets, has expanded its European Automotive team and created a new Field Application Engineer position to promote talented, up-and-coming engineers.
Based in Düsseldorf, Germany.
What you'll do
- Provide field application engineering support to automotive customers during product definition, development and launch
- Maintain strong relationships and provide technical support to resolve issues and maximise the benefit of the company's products and services
- Deliver post-sales technical support throughout the product lifecycle
- Contribute to engineering drawings, specifications, schedules and contract modifications to meet technical requirements
- Develop sample code applications for testing or demonstrating modules, and deliver technical training on the products
- Support technical investigations and provide consultation during quality-related issues at customer locations
