A high-growth semiconductor company specialising in analogue and mixed-signal ICs, headquartered in Asia and rapidly expanding in Europe, develops innovative power-management and signal-processing solutions for automotive, consumer and industrial customers. As part of its European expansion it is looking for a Field Application Engineer Manager to drive technical engagement and customer success across the automotive segment, and to build and lead a team of FAEs over time.
Home office until 2027, then hybrid preferred, ideally near Stuttgart, Germany, with around 30% travel within EMEA and periodic trips to headquarters in Asia.
What you'll do
- Provide deep technical support to automotive customers on analogue, mixed-signal and power-electronics products
- Understand customer systems and propose tailored, effective solutions
- Manage key customer projects from design-in to mass production
- Act as the bridge between customers and internal R&D teams, communicating complex technical concepts clearly and confidently
- Build and lead a team of Field Application Engineers
What you'll bring
- 5+ years as a Field Application Engineer in the automotive semiconductor industry, with a strong technical foundation in analogue and mixed-signal
- Experience supporting customer projects in automotive applications and a strong understanding of automotive system-level challenges
- Hands-on experience in project management or technical leadership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English and German (minimum B2 each), a valid driving licence, willingness to travel and eligibility to travel internationally
