A global leader in power electronics and energy-efficient systems is looking for a Field Application Engineer for motion products to help grow its industrial-automation business: solving technical problems, supporting channel partners and keeping the organisation informed on technology and feature trends.
Frequent travel is required.
What you'll do
- Identify and solve technical problems related to industrial-automation products and solutions
- Provide introductions and training on industrial-automation products and solutions to channel partners
- Support channel partners in identifying and solving technical problems
- Conduct benchmarking analysis of industrial-automation products and solutions when required
- Report periodically on technology and feature trends
What you'll bring
- A technical degree, preferably in Mechatronics, or Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on industrial-automation experience
- Good knowledge of motion applications with hands-on programming, and experience in motion-product promotion, market analysis and strategy planning
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with intercultural awareness, and good organisation, planning, analytical and presentation skills
- Fluent English, a European language a plus, a track record of working independently, a driving licence and commitment to quality work
