Field Applications Manager, Power Reliability Products

A provider of high-reliability semiconductor integrated circuits and electronic modules, and of reliability-testing services, enabling higher functionality, lower cost, longer lifetime and higher power efficiency for space and power-management applications, is looking for a versatile, detail-oriented Field Application Engineering Manager, reporting to the VP of Business Development and Strategy.

The role involves close collaboration with sales and engineering to identify customer needs, develop technical solutions and ensure successful implementation and optimisation of the company's products, with travel to customer sites and industry events.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, addressing queries and providing FAE support in alignment with internal sales and engineering
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions
• Collaborate with sales on technical proposals, product demonstrations and technical presentations, and provide technical input to sales strategy
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and competitive products, and develop and customise technical solutions to specific requirements
• Partner with engineering on customer feedback to influence product improvements, and ensure successful implementation and integration at customer sites with ongoing troubleshooting
• Prepare and maintain application notes, user guides and technical reports, and report regularly to management on customer activities and support issues

What you'll bring

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• A strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, market dynamics and competitive landscape in the region
• Proven experience in field application engineering or a similar technical-support role, preferably for semiconductor components including power-management ICs, MCUs and FPGAs
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and in a team, detail-oriented with a strategic outlook and a focus on results, and willingness to travel
