The German subsidiary of a leading provider of semiconductor production equipment, specialising in coat/develop tracks, wet cleaning and etching systems, thermal annealing systems and metrology tools, dedicated to high standards of reliability and customer satisfaction across EMEA, is looking for dedicated Field Service Engineers to install, modify, maintain and repair advanced semiconductor machinery in cleanroom environments at customer locations.
Germany, with both travelling and non-travelling positions available. Career changers are welcome: comprehensive training and support are provided for people from diverse backgrounds eager to move into the semiconductor industry.
What you'll do
- Install, modify, maintain and repair semiconductor production equipment
- Support products in cleanroom settings at multiple customer sites
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure equipment performance
- Provide technical support and training to customers
- Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance product functionality and efficiency
- Document service activities and prepare detailed reports
What you'll bring
- Training or certification in electronics, mechatronics or a related profession
- Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with machinery
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness to travel for travelling positions
- Fluent English; additional languages such as German or French a plus
