An industrial safety and environmental protection role at a large new semiconductor fab in eastern Germany, covering ESH and emergency response for the site as it is built and brought into production.
The role
- Industrial safety and environmental protection for the site, and the emergency response organisation that supports it.
- Legal compliance, risk assessment and the reporting that goes with a fab of this scale.
- Working across construction, facilities and operations, and with the corporate ESH function.
What is needed
- At least eight years in ESH or HSE, including emergency response.
- Professional fluency in German and English. Conversational Mandarin is genuinely needed here rather than a nice-to-have, because the site works daily with colleagues in Asia.
- Experience of a regulated process environment, semiconductor or otherwise.
