Finance and Accounting Manager, Power Semiconductors

A leading manufacturer of power semiconductor modules, an international business with the agility of a mid-sized company, is looking for a Manager Finance & Accounting to take ownership of the financial accounting of its German legal entity.

Based in the Munich area, Germany, leading a small team.

What you'll do

• Shape and drive the financial accounting processes of the German legal entity, including its branches
• Take full ownership of statutory accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with HGB and IFRS
• Oversee general and subsidiary ledgers across multiple entities
• Ensure timely monthly financial statements and related reports, including VAT reporting and transfer-pricing documentation
• Manage annual financial statements and yearly tax declarations, assessing tax implications with external advisors
• Contribute to business planning and group reporting, partnering closely with management
• Maintain relationships with auditors, legal advisors, banks and insurers, and manage selected supplier and insurance contracts
• Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation in financial processes, and lead and develop a small team

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of finance experience in an international B2B environment
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance or Accounting, or a recognised professional qualification such as CMA
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations, including HGB and taxation
• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong communication, organisation and resilience
• Strong IT affinity, including advanced MS Excel and experience with SAP or another ERP
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
