A highly visible, results-oriented, independent-contributor role covering Germany as well as Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands, engaging senior stakeholders and working-level specialists across government agencies, defence institutions and major corporations, and collaborating with other companies in the wider group.

  • Identify and pursue government and commercial opportunities in UAS and tactical defence solutions
  • Act as the primary marketing and commercial lead for Germany and neighbouring countries, tailoring messaging and branding to local market dynamics
  • Maintain ongoing communication with headquarters and with local colleagues from other divisions of the group
  • Monitor defence policy, procurement cycles and regulatory updates to inform market strategy
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences and in direct engagements with military, government and corporate leaders

What you'll bring

  • German citizenship, with fluent German and English, written and spoken
  • At least 10 years in business development, sales or marketing within the defence, aerospace or security sectors
  • A military background is a strong advantage, particularly with operational, procurement or liaison experience
  • A strong understanding of defence procurement structures and government contracting in Germany, and ideally a well-established network in the German defence ecosystem
  • Proven ability to work independently without in-office support, with exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder-engagement skills
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business, engineering, political science or related; an engineering background an advantage; willingness to travel frequently across Germany and occasionally abroad
