OT Security Engineer

A consulting role in operational technology security for an engineering and technology consultancy, securing the control systems behind drive technology and energy supply for its customers. The work is project-based, on customer sites across northern Germany.

The role

• Advising customer projects on cyber security, for example in drive technology and energy supply.
• Running risk analyses and threat assessments for ICS and SCADA systems.
• Acting as the link between engineering, the customer and management, and explaining complex security topics clearly to each.
• Coordinating incident response in OT environments and driving preventive measures.
• Implementing standards such as IEC 62443 and ISO 27001 in system architectures.
• Supporting audits and compliance requirements.

What is needed

• A degree in engineering or the natural sciences, with or without professional experience.
• Fluent German, at C1 level or above.
• Willingness to work on site with customers across the region.
