An established high-power semiconductor manufacturer whose devices, assemblies and test systems improve the reliability and efficient control of electrical energy in power transmission and distribution, railway transportation, marine propulsion, electric vehicles, renewable generation and industrial motor drives is looking for a talented Project Coordinator to support cross-border collaboration between its teams in the UK and China.
Based in Lincoln, UK. A pivotal role enabling communication, coordination and project tracking between the two offices, working closely with project sponsors and managers on the planning, monitoring and documentation of R&D projects.
What you'll do
- Support the development of project plans and coordination activities, and own the central documentation library
- Ensure timely communication of project progress between the UK and China, organising and recording project meetings, operational reports and milestone tracking
- Maintain compliance with internal project-management procedures and oversee intellectual-property management (patents, publications)
- Guide project teams in completing documentation correctly, and liaise with engineers in both countries to support product development
- Act as an ERP superuser, maintain technical-publication records, and evaluate projects against timelines and financial targets
- Prepare bilingual (English/Mandarin) reports to a high standard, and build strong relationships with international colleagues, research bodies, suppliers and customers
What you'll bring
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT, and experience within the electrical or electronic industries
- A solid background in project coordination or administration, with strong organisational, multitasking, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in multicultural environments, presenting complex information accessibly to technical and non-technical colleagues
- Fluent English and Mandarin and experience translating semiconductor technical documents, desirable
- Self-motivated, dependable and detail-oriented, with outstanding communication and a collaborative, solution-oriented attitude
