A global power semiconductor company specialising in discrete, analogue and power devices for efficient power conversion, power management and motor control across industrial, automotive and consumer applications is looking for a Technical Sales Manager, Europe, to drive profitable growth across the territory by developing strategic customers, creating new opportunities and working closely with distribution partners.

Remote, based in Germany or elsewhere in Europe, with regular travel across the territory.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute sales and business-development strategy across the European territory, identifying new customers and applications and growing existing strategic accounts
  • Build strong relationships with OEMs, EMS organisations, distributors and channel partners, and manage and develop the distribution network
  • Drive demand creation and design-in and design-win activity, engaging engineering, purchasing, product management and senior commercial stakeholders
  • Develop account plans, maintain a strong opportunity pipeline, prepare forecasts and support quotations, pricing and commercial negotiations
  • Provide market intelligence on customers, competitors, applications and trends, and represent the company at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events

What you'll bring

  • Proven sales experience in the power semiconductor industry, with strong account management and distributor and channel management, and an established understanding of the European market
  • Strong commercial understanding of power discrete products and applications: thyristors, SCRs and triacs, power diodes, high-voltage transistors and SiC Schottky diodes, across EV charging, telecom and server power, AC-DC and DC-DC supplies, solar inverters, motor control, industrial electronics and home appliances
  • A track record of demand creation, design-in and design-win activity and revenue growth, engaging effectively with purchasing, engineering and management teams
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-management skills; an engineering background is an advantage but not essential
  • Self-driven and comfortable managing an international territory, fluent in English, with German and other European languages an advantage, and willing to travel regularly
