Sales Manager - Fan and Thermal Management - Milan, Italy

A global leader in power electronics and energy-efficient systems is looking for a Sales Manager to promote and sell its fan and thermal products in the EMEA market: a key account manager who creates and deploys strategy from a deep understanding of customer requirements and grows business through direct customers and channel partners.

Based in Milan, Italy, with 30 to 50% travel to customers, prospects and fairs.

What you'll do

• Promote and sell fan and thermal products across EMEA, acting as key account manager with strategy built on customer requirements
• Work closely with customer procurement and R&D to define suitable products and conditions, and coordinate with engineering and the factory to ensure time-to-market launches
• Drive commercial and technical issues to closure by arranging resources and engaging all parties
• Research, identify and develop potential direct customers within specified markets, industries and applications, feeding back to engineering and marketing
• Develop the representative and distributor channel and implement sound strategy to grow business in target countries and markets
• Assist the Business Director with new market strategies and approaches, and drive cross-selling across the group

What you'll bring

• At least 3 years in fan-motor and cooling solutions across telecom, industrial, automotive or white-goods industries, with good knowledge of DC and EC fans, EMI, heat sinks and air-conditioning products and markets
• At least 3 years of hands-on ODM/OEM experience in international companies, and 3 years building sales channels through local partners and agents
• Good communication across cross-functional, intercultural organisations, and good organisation, planning, analytical and presentation skills
• Strong self-initiative, results drive, and an inquisitive openness to new innovation and technology
• Fluent English and German, other languages a plus, and the ability to travel 30 to 50% of the time
