Industrial Automation Sales Manager, Italy

A global leader in power electronics and energy-efficient systems, with a broad portfolio across industrial and building automation, telecom and data-centre power, EV charging, renewable energy and energy storage, is looking for a Senior Sales Manager for its Industrial Automation business in Lombardy.

Based in Lombardy, Italy, at the business's office near Como, with sales activity focused on Lombardy and East Piedmont.

What you'll do

• Research, identify and develop the potential for the company's products within specified markets and industries
• Create, maintain and develop a customer database
• Develop customer relationships with key engineering and technical personnel in agreed target companies and industries
• Develop and nurture new market strategies and approaches

What you'll bring

• A technical high-school diploma or an engineering degree, preferably electrical or mechanical
• 7 to 10 years in the industrial-automation sector; woodworking, packaging, metal cutting or forming a plus
• Hands-on technical experience with industrial-automation products: PLC, HMI, motion controllers, inverters, servos
• Experience within an international company, with intercultural awareness and good interpersonal skills
• Highly proficient spoken and written English and Italian, mandatory; good organisation, planning, analytical and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently
