A global semiconductor company pioneering high-performance, cost-effective GaN (Gallium Nitride) solutions, with advanced R&D capabilities and high-volume manufacturing serving consumer, industrial, automotive and data-centre applications, is looking for a Sales Manager to strengthen its presence in the US market: driving customer engagement, developing new accounts and securing design wins for its GaN portfolio.
United States, ideally based near the company's US office in the San Francisco Bay Area; other US locations considered, with extensive travel within the US.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute sales activity to expand the company's presence across the US
- Identify, pursue and close new business with OEMs, Tier 1s and distributors
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
- Promote the GaN product portfolio and support design-in activity with application engineers
- Track and report pipeline development, opportunities and competitor activity
- Collaborate with global sales and marketing to align US activity with overall strategy, and represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and trade shows
What you'll bring
- 5+ years in semiconductor or electronic-component sales (power devices, GaN, SiC, MOSFETs, ICs or related)
- A strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, and an established customer network in the US electronics and semiconductor ecosystem
- The ability to communicate technical value propositions to engineers and procurement teams
- An entrepreneurial, proactive and independent approach suited to a fast-growing environment
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics or related, with experience in wide-bandgap (GaN/SiC) or power electronics and familiarity with both direct and channel sales
