The European arm of a global display-solutions supplier, fully responsible for sales, marketing, quality and logistics support of its LCDs in Europe, offering professional TFT LCDs, passive LCDs and capacitive-touch displays to automotive, medical and industrial markets, is looking for a highly motivated SCM Consultant to join its European Sales Operations team.
Based in Düsseldorf, Germany. You will manage production planning and procurement, and with the logistics, internal sales and production teams in Asia drive process improvements that promote efficiency, quality and customer service.
What you'll do
- Take responsibility for demand and supply planning, including forecasting, production planning and procurement
- Release and monitor purchase orders to factories, trace deliveries from factory to warehouse, and schedule to sales
- Coordinate demand and forecast with factories and the sales department, and negotiate deliveries
- Develop evaluations and action-oriented recommendations and strategies for potential problems
- Analyse, execute and evaluate results against targets
- Support data maintenance of new products and manage inventory targets and parameters within the ERP system
