Senior Automotive Software Engineer, Motor Control Units

A growing automotive power electronics manufacturer
A senior software role with an automotive power electronics manufacturer that develops and produces automotive-certified motor control units (inverters) and IGBT and SiC power modules for battery electric and hybrid drive trains.
The role
- Leading and delivering new software development projects for automotive controllers.
- Developing end-to-end technical solutions to customer requirements.
- Working with customers and with internal development teams in Germany and Asia.
- Evaluating new ideas and concepts through research projects.
What is needed
- A master's degree or PhD in electrical, mechanical or software engineering.
- At least five years in automotive software development.
- A track record in model-based development, C/C++, UDS, INCA and Matlab/Simulink.
- AUTOSAR, ASPICE and ISO 26262 functional safety applied on real projects. Experience of the ASPICE levels German OEMs expect is a real advantage.
- Fluent English, and a strong sense of teamwork. German is an advantage, not a requirement.
The role is office-based and needs an existing right to work in Germany: EU citizens, or holders of an EU Blue Card.
