A fast-growing mixed-signal and power-management IC company is building its U.S. West Coast technical team and looking for a Senior Field Applications Engineer to support major technology and OEM customers across the region. The portfolio spans switching and isolated DC/DC converters, power switches and protection ICs, gate drivers and power modules, LDOs and Vcore power solutions, AC/DC flyback, PFC and offline regulators, battery-management ICs and automotive-grade (AEC-Q) power devices.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with West Coast travel. The role is designed to grow into an FAE Manager position as the U.S. business scales, with team-building responsibility and broader regional coverage.
What you'll do
- Support customer design-in activities across DC/DC, AC/DC, battery-management and automotive-grade power applications
- Provide application-level guidance on buck and isolated converters, gate drivers, LDOs and related topologies
- Work closely with sales to drive new design wins and grow key West Coast accounts
- Manage samples and application documentation
- Act as the technical link between U.S. customers and the product lines in Asia, feeding structured customer input into future product roadmaps
What you'll bring
- An Electrical Engineering degree
- Hands-on experience in DC/DC, AC/DC, power-switch or battery-management analogue power solutions
- A good understanding of SMPS topologies (buck, flyback, PFC and similar)
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English
- A commercial mindset and a genuine interest in customer-facing technical work
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate
