A German engineering company specialising in advanced thermal, vacuum and plasma process systems for high-tech industrial applications is looking for a Senior Sales professional to lead global business development in plasma technology. Its core technologies, vacuum soldering, sintering, drying and plasma treatment, serve power electronics, automotive and EV, semiconductor, chemical and pharmaceutical customers worldwide.
Based in Germany with an international scope.
What you'll do
- Lead global business development and key account activities in plasma technology
- Identify market trends, customer needs and competitive dynamics, and translate them into growth initiatives
- Act as senior technical advisor to customers and internal sales teams
- Manage complex development and customer projects across scope, timelines, budget and quality
- Initiate and drive innovation projects with R&D
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, conferences and customer meetings
What you'll bring
- A degree in physics, electrical engineering, materials science or a comparable technical discipline
- A strong background in plasma or vacuum technology or related high-tech process systems
- Several years in technical sales, business development or key account management in a B2B environment
- Strong commercial acumen with deep technical understanding, and the ability to bridge technology, sales and strategy
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with experience in international, cross-functional environments
- Fluent German and English
