Technical Sales Manager, Semiconductor and Optical Test Systems

We are recruiting technical sales managers for a manufacturer of test and measurement systems for semiconductor and optical devices, building its European team. The range covers source measure units, bit error ratio testers, sampling oscilloscopes, wavelength meters, wafer test systems and handlers, sold into optical and power device manufacturing.

What you would do

• Own the commercial relationship with semiconductor and optical device manufacturers across your territory.
• Win new accounts and grow existing ones, from first technical conversation through to order.
• Work with the applications engineers so that what is promised is what gets installed.
• Feed what customers need back into product and engineering.

What you would bring

• A technical degree, or an equivalent background in electronics, physics or semiconductor engineering.
• Experience selling capital equipment or test and measurement systems into semiconductor, optical or photonics manufacturers.
• Fluent German and English, both used daily.

The practicalities

• Based in Germany, covering customers across Europe.
• Travel of up to 75 per cent.
• Initial training on the full product range at the manufacturer's site overseas.
• One of these seats carries the scope to lead the sales team as the business grows.
