Thin-Film Ceramics Account Manager, Europe

A global manufacturer of advanced materials, components and technology solutions for the semiconductor, electronics, automotive, industrial and energy markets is developing its European Thin-Film Ceramics (TFC) business and looking for a technically strong Account Manager to lead that growth across Europe.

This is a hybrid technical and commercial role, introducing advanced ceramic substrate technology into new European accounts across optical transceivers, MEMS pressure sensors, photonics and semiconductor applications, and building long-term customer relationships from early technical engagement through to commercial development. The location is flexible within Germany or wider Europe.

What you'll do

• Develop new business opportunities for Thin-Film Ceramics across Europe
• Identify and approach prospective customers and the relevant technical decision-makers
• Introduce the company's products and capabilities into new target accounts
• Build customer relationships across optical communications, MEMS, photonics and semiconductor markets
• Take accounts from early technical engagement through to commercial development

What you'll bring

• Active contacts among the target customers, with the market knowledge to open new business from the outset
• Experience selling thin-film and thick-film metallized ceramic substrates, or closely related components, into optical, RF, sensor or semiconductor customers
• A blend of technical application knowledge and commercial, new-business ability
• Fluent English; German or another European language an advantage
