An RF and antenna engineering role for an automotive glazing manufacturer, developing the antenna and high-frequency systems that give tomorrow's vehicles their connectivity. The role can be worked remotely within Germany, with occasional international travel.

The role

  • Developing antenna and high-frequency components and systems for automotive applications.
  • Running electromagnetic simulations, RF measurements and technical assessments for development projects.
  • Analysing and validating antenna systems in the lab.
  • Building demonstrators and prototypes with interdisciplinary teams, and agreeing requirements and results with customers and development partners.
  • Documenting results in reports, presentations and development records, and supporting technology, literature and patent research.

What is needed

  • A degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, physics or a comparable field.
  • Experience in high-frequency engineering, RF engineering or antenna technology.
  • Electromagnetic simulation, ideally with CST Studio Suite, HFSS or Feko.
  • Hands-on lab and measurement experience with VNA, spectrum analyser, oscilloscope or RF amplifiers.
  • Very good German and English, and willingness to travel internationally from time to time.

Programming in Python, MATLAB or similar is an advantage.
