What it means for hiring

A resolver-class sensor at 5V in a DFN-6 package is aimed squarely at the motors nobody writes about: pumps, actuators, seat and brake motors, the small brushless drives a car now carries by the dozen. Three-axis sensing above 50,000 rpm with a 2us refresh means proper field-oriented control on parts that until recently made do with hall switches.

For hiring that pushes real motor control work down the value chain. The people who can close a current loop, tune an observer and argue about sensor latency have mostly sat in traction inverter teams, and now Tier 1s building small actuators want the same skill without traction budgets. The shortlist that actually works is motor control engineers from industrial drives, appliance or e-bike backgrounds who have done field-oriented control properly, and they are far easier to move than anyone currently on a traction programme.
